Caking it just as well :)

Well I thought I'd begin this blog by telling you guys that I am not only about foam decorations, I also love to bake and decorate cakes. Like I said, I love art and I believe cake decorating consists of some pretty hefty art skills. I personally call these beautiful cakes, cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, etc—sweet art. Seeing that what I do in regards to foam birthday decorations goes hand in hand with my sweet art I've created a page titled SweetArt for those of you who may be interested in taking a look at some of things I've done. I thought I'd share some tips and information on cake, cupcake and cookie decorating in my blog posts as well. I began creating these sweet pieces of art around the same time I started with my foam decorations. I think its safe to say that many of us love baking and decorating pastries :) and I wasn't an exception. I wanted to learn the most I can and am pretty much self taught getting all my experience from the internet and basic trail and error. I started by making some PRETTY ugly cakes so if you aren't any good don't worry! Practice really does make perfect ;). Every time I make something new I learn more and more so there is still so much I don't know and I feel that is how all professions/hobbies function. You can't ever stop learning.
